I have a set....in the rain the piece that replaced the HD spring clips...rusted! Otherwise they work OK but could do the same with a screw/bolt and nut. The security tool isn't anything really special...most MAC trucks carry them and was surprised. Even my local indy dealer had one. Nothing is perfect in this world but this system dose work well.

Jerry1834,
Hey man! No way that should have rusted. We warranty and guarantee our products. They have a black phosphate coating on them that is used on cars and trucks to endure the weather.
I have had them on my bike for 2 years and no problems at all after washing and rain, but it is garaged most of the time.
You are the first to state this, but message us your name and address and we will gladly send out 4 new clips tomorrow.
