I installed the HD 2" pullback bars and I replaced the clutch cable and the bars. I ran the wiring inside the bars. They are very comfortable. With stock bars I got a burning pain between my shoulders. Went on a 3,000 mile tour with the new bars this past summer with no discomfort whatsoever.

"This is a CVO SG but don't think that matters."

No disrespect, just a bit puzzled, you have a CVO SG and you chickened out cause it was 600 in parts plus labor

I think the 575s would look great on your bike, I am having them installed next week, about $800 in parts, and 6 to 8 hrs labor, $600. Make sure you are certain about what you want out of them you can see by the posts everyone is different some like em some don't.

not sure if they are the same bars you are looking at but I had a set installed a couple weeks ago for $525. Here is the thread that I started:

Follow-up: for those who did replace their stock bars with the 2" pull back bars - do you have the ABS system? I see that some guys only replaced the clutch, and some replaced no wires or cables at all. Do any of you who installed these w/o adding new cables and wires also have ABS brakes?

I installed the +2 sweepers on my 2010 FLTRX and didn't need to change any cables or wiring.
just needed to relocate the clutch cable.
took me a few hours to install them myself.

yes, but what does having ABS have to do with changing the handlebars and not changing any lines or clutch cable?
and even if you did change the brake line, you just bleed it normally.

I have ABS and did not have to change any brake lines. I changed the clutch cable only because the cable had a tight bend with the bars turned to left lock. I really don't think it would have been a problem but I changed it anyway to prevent possible breakdown later.

The dealer quote was $1100. Knocked my socks off. I let them replace the clutch cable.

this was the point of the question - does it make any difference? since you say "no" you've answered the question - thanks.
