I had a similar quote at my dealership for my new Limited. The bars are $149, but the total price quote is $800 for parts (CDN) plus 5 or 6 hours labor. It would take 1 or 2 hours more to run the electrical inside the bars, but I don't need that. The most expensive parts are brake lines. I have asked several times if all the parts are actually required and they have always told me that they are needed (different techs). With any and all discounts the price would be around $1350 CDN taxes in.

I put the 2" HD pullback bars on my '93 FLHS two years ago. I did the work myself in a couple of hours and only had to replace the clutch cable. I also had to rig up a new air filler valve because the stock bars were air bars and the replacement ones weren't, but hey, that's a different story altogether. The bars made a huge difference in my comfort. I have a chronic neck disc problem and the bars allowed me to drop my elbows down and take pressure off my shoulders and neck. Big difference for only 2".

So I figure as expensive as it is, my comfort and the condition of my neck is worth the $1350. Its a grudge purchase, but I'll do it this winter.

Just need to reroute the clutch cable a little.
I have Wild-1's 575 on my 2005 Ultra. Makes a world of difference. Your hands are up 2" and back 2"...much more comfortable. I also used stock cables with no problems.

I put Wild One 575's on a 2009 Ultra and did all the work myself except the installation of the longer clutch cable. I also pulled all the wiring through the bars. Took me 6 1/2 hours and I go slow.
The ONLY thing you need is a longer clutch cable if you want it routed through the same hole as the stock clutch cable.
If you want a dealer to do it and the dealer says you need to pay for anything else (other than their labor), RUN.
(And a side note to 2011FLHTK, if the quote of $ 1350 was from Davies, RUN. They are a decent dealer to shop at, but they will gouge you at every turn on service).

i put the khrome werks sweepers +2 on my SG and all I had to change was the clutch cable. I belive the bars were about $60 and cable was $40 and I did it in an afternoon in my garage. I love the wrist angle of these over the HD pullback bars, do a search on these bars on here and you'll find all sorts of good info with pics.

I did the HD pull back bars and all I did was reroute the clutch cable. No problem. If you have throttle by wire make sure you get the right bars. 149.00 and my time. I really like the bars.

I see they included the Twist grip sensor and brake lines. I did not need either of those parts to install the HD Pullback bars. The stock Twist Grip Sensor wires are long enough to reuse in the new bars, and the upper brake line is more than long enough. See the pic below. As you can see from the pic, I did not bend the brake line so it would lay closer to the new bars. I found the stock clutch cable far too tight when you turn the bars to the right stop. Some here have said they were fine with that, but I wasn't so I replaced it.

I installed the HD bars myself and did not have to replace anything else. You just have to re-route some things but everything fits just fine.

Go with the 575's. Exact same angle as stock, just a little wider and taller. HD pullbacks are like wheelbarrows and have a terrible wrist angle.

I will respectfully disagree with those that say these 2" pull back bars from HD are all wrong for comfort ...Maybe my style is different in sitting in the saddle. I like them and am very happy with my posture for hours on end.

I put them on my bike no cable change... took me about 3 hours. took them off without taking radio or inner fairing off....took the ignition off, then the lock assembly, then took the bolts out from under the triple tree on the risers...I had to wiggle them out but did it...I put them in my Vise style bench to keep the distance...Some guy called me a liar but i have no reason to lie..I am all about DIY and saving coins...I like them better than stock...I am 6'1" and it helped my posture on the bike.
