Good Evening,
I sure hope someone can help me.
I own a 2003 FLHTCI.....I have installed "true dual" exhaust using a kit made by "Full Sac"....this kit has two ceramic pipes that replace the stock Y pipe. You turn your heat shield around on the R/S pipe to cover the new section of pipe so it looks nice.
However, on the L/S pipe, even using the existing heat shield, you can still see the bare exhaust pipe coming out of the rear cylinder....."Full Sac" doesn't sell a chrome heat shield to hide this and for the live of me....I can't find anything either?????
I know that if you purchase a full set of header pipes from say Vance and Hines, they come with a heat shield that covers this area.....I would think "someone" would have done this for this kit.
Help.
Thanks
I hate heat shields; had my RH True Duals ceramic coated, inside and out, baffles and all clamps as well and run them without heat shields. However, I have to qualify and say that I am much more concerned about how the bike handles and performs; don't care for chrome or fancy do dads; just go for clean and simple but tire smokin power.
