I ordered 2 months ago it finally came in. But being as now it is winter I called and told them to hold it till Spring. That was OK with them. This 450.00 light only has a 90 days warranty so why let it expire while the bike just sets.

 

The HD led has a 1 year...........

I keep hearing these are back ordered almost everywhere. Anyone know if the online shops have these in stock?

 

I would of done the same even if it has a one year warranty.

Looks like Zanotti is back ordered till 1/21/11. Guess there is some demand for these...

 

My fear about upgrading to LED fog lights and headlamp are, what do you end up doing if the thing goes out on a trip? Go find an HD dealer? When you loose a bulb out on the road you can get a replacement almost anywhere??? What is the durability of these units?

Slightly off-topic, but to Charlie's point:
I installed a H-D LED tail lamp (68086-08) on my 2008 FLHRC when I bought it new. Last week all but four of the LEDs died. The wiring checks out OK, so it looks like the LED circuit board has crapped out.

I've ordered a new one, but even with a readily available product like the tail lamp, it's a serious PITA. I'd hate to consider the drama if I had an LED headlamp and it failed at night.
