Had one on my KLR for a while. I used to take it off for off road and around town trips then put it back on for touring. Don't think I would put one on an Electra though. Just my Opinion
I have had one on my 03 RK since new. It stopped the turbulence on my helmet and my glasses stopped shaking . One of the best things i have done to improve on a great bike.
If I needed something like, for $84, I'd put the money towards a one-piece windshield that has the curve built into it. Butt ugly that is, but whatever floats your boat.
Maybe it's functional, but I've got to agree that it takes away from the looks of the bike, I.E., it's ugly! I would go to a taller windshield or one that flips out a little bit way before that would be on my bike.
A single flip up won't work as well as a flip up with a little standoff. A double set should work quite a bit better than a single. Had a set on a bimmer once, worked great. You're right though, dog butt ugly.
