Default Trailing Forks

I was reading on the H-D history page about the Tour Glide having trailing forks. I looked at my bike and sure it has trailing forks. Could this be the cause of tank slap? And what is the advantages , disadvantages of this setup???

Yes, it could be a factor in the alledged high speed wobbles Dressers have. I say alledged because I ride on for both work and pleasure and haven't ever experienced it.

The main benefit is improved low speed handling...No flop. If you don't know what flop is, the first time you ride a chopper you will quickly discover it.
