Default Calibrated eye needed- what size apes are these?

Edit: it works!

Dunno if I can link images from their site:

I've been shopping for bars over the past month or so, but haven't made up my mind. (I'm 6' 4" and the stock bars have to go) I was back in Milwaukee visiting my parents for the holiday, and stopped in a couple dealers to pass the time. Sat on a handful of touring bikes with all different types of bars. I can't stand the cruiser-style bar, they seem to jam my elbows into my ribcage.

Saw this Road Glide with apes on it, sat on it figuring it was close enough to a Road King for trial purposes, and it was by far the most comfortable hand position I've ever felt on a bike. Of course, nobody knew what bars were on it since it was traded in, and I didn't have a tape measure to check them. I thought by looking at them in the store they were 12.5"s or 14"s, but looking at the pics afterward they appear to be closer to 16"s. Girlfriend said there was no way they were 12.5"s, and in retrospect I think she was right.

Now I'm back in Detroit and I can't go back to the dealer to measure them. What does everybody think?

If they're 16"s, I didn't want to go that high, but they were so f'n comfortable I think I don't have a choice.

Thanks!

16's was my gut reaction before I read your commentary below.

Call the dealer and ask them to measure them. Look kinda like 14s to me.

I'll give that a try. I did buy a t-shirt and some crap for my bike while I was there, hopefully they'll help me out. Thanks for the responses everybody!

At first I thought they were 16" but then I saw that it was a RG and not a SG so I think they are 14's. As somebody said, call the dealer and have them measure and they may also be able to tell you who makes them. Good luck...I put 12.5s on mine and I love it...Plus I'm only 5'9.

Looks like 14's to me and I came up with that by looking at mine at the same angles as the pictures.
