Default Street glide wheels.

Its time to put new tires on my glide, at the same time I want to buy new wheels. I was thinking about going to a 21" on the front. I've heard mixed reviews, some say it takes away from the ride and the handling. I saw one at Catskill Mt. thunder on a glide and it looked sweet. Also any suggestions as to what size to put on the back.
Thanks.

In my cause it improved the ride. The front end feels lighter.

I've got 18k on my 08 with the 21/18 combo and have no complaints. Rides good ,handles good, looks good.

Like others have said the 21" front wheel looks great and rides nice. The only thing I don't like about it is that it raises the front end about 1 1/4" but besides that it is a great option. Usually on the pre 2009 streetglides I would recommend a 18 x 4.25" rear with a 150/70-18 tire. If you have a 2009 or newer streetglide then I would go with either a 17 x 6.25" with a 200/50-17 or a 18 x 5.5" with a 180/55-18.
