The problem I'm trying to fix is the butt and lower back pain from riding hunched over. The stock bars on my 2010 SG are terrible. The MBB 12" have a 9" pull back and the WO 577 have 11" pull back. I think. I wonder if there is a lot of difference in comfort with 2" more pull back?

There is...my opinion. That's the reason I gave up on "the look" and bought a quality set of bars with more pull back.
The PYOs look fantastic but with everyone running them they start to look a little old. Again, my opinion.
Classic apes are timeless and go with the overall theme of a slightly modified bike.
Hope you guys are right, ordered up the WO577 this week to eliminate shoulder pain and allow me to sit more upright. I have long torso and short legs, hoping the extra pullback on the wild1s will be the right choice. Also, the PYO look versus the Wild1 is just a personal taste.
I like the Paul Yaffee (monkey bagger bars) but I've heard there is a long wait to get them and they're very hard to run the wires threw. The WO 577 are nice too but they don't look quite as good as the monkey bars. Has anyone had any trouble getting the Paul Yaffee Monkey Bars? Does anyone know if the black finish on these bars is gloss or flat? Thanks...
I can only speak of the W577B bars as those are the ones I have on my bike. Inititally I took a hard look at the PYO bars, but never got a chance to sit on a bike and get a feel for them. They do look cool, but they also look like a PITA to run the wires internally at those bends. Again, may not be hard, just looks like it.
As for my bars, I got a chance to sit on a bike at the Dr. VTWIN shop and I loved them right there. I went with the black version and from what I understand, it's a satin finish, not flat. It does go well with my color scheme though. For the record, I would do the same thing if I had to do it all over again.
Got the wild1s for the price, the quality, and the non-trendy design. i like the yaffe bars, but the price is crazy and more and more people tend to have them now
