I think I they have more usable room. Remember it is snowing here so I haven't really used them it.But the center bag is 9" long t-bag is 7.5"
side bag is 5" which is the same as the t-bag if you remove the part that drops down which I found hard to use anyway. I think I will like the larger center bag. That was why I tried their 2 bag unit but it looked ridiculous on the bike at least to me and my wife. it was 5' deep and that 5" started 1" from the windshield.
I have the T-Bag 3 pouch one and although it contours to the shape of the dash and looks the best, it is so stiff that it is almost unusable for me, especially the side pouches.

I haven't got to use mine yet (weather) but it looks like i am going to agree. I put sunglasses in the center pouch an that pretty much filled it. the two side one are really small.
