Default TBW Broke

Anyone had their TBW spring break. Mine doesn't return to idle on it's own now. Stays were ever I put it. As stiff as the spring was not sure I want to fix it.

Mine has been like that for almost 2 years, happened not long after I changed my bars and grips. I'm sure I should fix it but it never bothers me.....I just roll the hand forward.

Try loosening the switch housing and sliding it towards the end of the bar 1/16" of an inch.

It sounds like the grip is in a bind in the housing.

Doesn't feel like it is binding......but worth a shot. Thanks!

I seem to remember mine hanging up, but I removed the grip and twisted the throttle and it went back everytime. Put the grip back on and everything was moving free. Think the grip was hanging up somewhere. Hasn't done it since. About 3k miles

Mine was doing the same thing, loosening the two grip screws and moving out a bit solved my issue.

What is probably sticking is the TBW mechanism inside the handlebars. Just stray some white grease between them and you should be good to go. BTW: I had to do this on my 2010.
