I have the regular HF floor jack. When they came out with the high lift I got it.

It is easy to clean wheels and removal. I like that when sitting in my little mechanics chair, I am at the right height to work on everything and scoot around.

The only draw back is it can't be moved around when a bike is on it like the regular floor jack.

Here is a picture of it when I did the 5K on the Ultra this summer.

And one just after I put it together. I got it on sale for $120 at HF

If you are looking for a jack rather than a lift, and you want one of the very best jacks available, then most definitely get the J & S.

But....... if you would rather have THE very best jack, then you should consider the Pitbull. It is more heavy duty, has a larger footprint, more stable, grease zerks on moving parts, 8 inches of higher lift capacity, etc.

If you have concerns about lifting heavy things or storage space, then get the J & S because it is lighter and smaller than the Pitbull.

But quality and features come with a price so the Pitbull will cost you $50 to $75 more than the J & S, depending on where you get your deal.

Bottom line. Research and really compare all of the features and specs before you decide. And remember that most people by nature will tell you that whatever they bought is absolutely the very best. That's what I am doing!!

PS. The J & S does have a cool oil catcher thingy that you can buy.... or you can just make one for free.

I've had a Larin, Pitbull, and J&S, all at the same time. I used the J&S almost exclusively. I sold the Pitbull and the POS Larin just takes up room.

+1 on the J&S... solid, and easy to use.

Agree - there's a huge difference & which you get depends on your plans on how it'll be used. Major wrenching - get a lift...minor maint & cleaning - jack works best.
