that should help with the heat, but there are tons of choices for exhaust. Do some research to make sure you get what you like. Lots of people end up selling the first set of exhaust due to impulse decisions.

Have fun!

First of all, congrats on the new ride. I have a 2010 Ultra Classic and live in the desert. I first added the Harley oil cooler, and then went with the Fuel Moto package of SE stage-1, PC-V, and Jackpot slip-on's.

I definitely feel less heat on the right leg and routinely ride in 112* plus weather without any problems. Additionally, the price was right and the Jackpot's sound good. Since the Fuel Moto package is pre-mapped, you bolt everything on and you are good to go.

There are many options available, so take your time and get what is right for you.

congrats on the new scoot! Ride it just the way it is for now. You might like it as is. It will have to go back to expensive care for it's break in servicing anyways & you can use that time to ask other owners about their mods & how they like them.
Hatch.

Welcome! My guess is you ain't new to riding if your first scoot was an Ultra. Some of the web sites have recordings you can listen to. Check out some other folks rides before you buy, unless you are jsut going for the look. Haven't heard any that made a Harley sound bad.

Congrats on the new scoot. You are gonna love it. I got mine while on R&R leave from Iraq. I put 700 miles on her in 11 days. I rode in 90+ and the heat did not bother me. I am still going to gut the cat and do the stage 1 just so I can wake up that 103, lol.. Stay safe and enjoy your new bike.

Congrats on the Limited, your going to love it! I bought mine in June and it's my first Harley also. I would recommend just riding it stock at first too see if the heat is an issue for you. For me it's not, but everyones differant. There is alot of good info on this forum, but also alot of varying opinions.Good luck, Stay safe.

I did the FuelMoto stage 1 + catless headpipe for mine. Only been on since end of Dec. but I can tell diff in the amount of heat at this time of year. Plus really woke up the 103 as was mentioned.

As someone else said...since this is your first Harley...ride it the way it is for a few months! A lot of people I have seen change out their exhausts quick and a month or two later hear something else they like better and end up double spending. Go stock for a month or two until you have had the change to hear other's bikes and then go from there.
