Welcome from Michigan and congrats on the new Harley.
Don't rush in to fast on the mods, just take your time. I also have a new 11 Harley and I will keep her stock for most of the first year... Good luck and ride safe.
Hello everyone I am new to this forum and harley I finally decide to pull the trigger on a 2011 vivid black ultra limited will get to pick her up this weekend
I have a question what do you guys recommend to take care of the heat I am hearing about this is what the dealer suggested
Headers (Vance and Hines) Slip-ons (Bassoni) Stage one and Re-map,
what do you think
When I bought My 08UC, lots of people recommended different pipes, stage one, etc. I decided to leave it stock and have been completly satisfied. I did put an oil cooler on though.

congrats on the new ride, I just bought mine this past august. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! I rode Goldwings for years, i ask my self why now. Unfortunetely I libe outside the US and I dont have many miles on her. Take heed to the advice from others about exhaust and parts, lots of no- nonsense real good advice from others that have spent twice as they say. I have been doing nothing but asking questions about the same stuff and always get good advice. I take notes, compare and continue looking for what I want. My list of parts is a ling one for the summer but I have a lot of time to wait, but amn oh man when I get home this summer it is going to be christmas time for me and the scoot.
This past october when I was home for a week I changed out the speaker system with an 8 speaker systme with power amp. added some KLOCK Werks slip ons, they sound great, but all the other stuff, handle bars, air kit, headers, new winshield, lights and trim controls and boards and maybe cams will come this summer. have fun and ride safe
I'm with the fuel moto choice but add on the head pipes no point in just slip ons the cat in the head pipe ks where most the heatcomes from. Call Jamie he'll set you straight
