Default Harley like headset

Has anyone tried the Harley behind the head headsets that are being sold on ebay?

I bought similar headsets from IMC Motocom (a forum sponsor) and really like them.
I don't know what brand that ebayer is selling. The are obviously not disclosing the information, that scared me away.

I have been also using a set from iMC for a couple years and love them. Don't always wear a helmet and they are great. Several of my riding friends have bought them after trying mine.

34 bucks? Wow. I have the HD version which looks to me like a relabeled IMC Motocom.
The audio is outstanding and the mic is crystal clear.

But...They hurt my ears. Wife's too. Used them like twice and have been sitting on my work bench for the last 4 months.

Are they better with a 1/2 Helmet or a 3/4 Helmet ?

I wish I would have seen these before I paid 100 bucks for the HD set.

90% of the transaction feedbacks were positive about the setup and sound quality. Seems worthy of a tryout.

These are simply computer headsets with the two 1/8" plugs cut off and a 7 pin plug soldered on. Bought them years ago and returned them. You can make these for less than $10 if you can solder.
