May be a dumb question but I am going to ask it anyway. With an air ride system like Draggin Baggers or the other, is the air released from the shocks when the bike gets turned off?? Also, if the air does bleed out of the system upon shut off, does it pump back to the same height upon restart or do you need to flip the switch to bring the height back up?
Thanks, wish I would've jumped on the Sept. special from Draggin'[:@]
I'm pretty sure the air is bled out of the system using the supplied valve that mounts near the compressor. It basically releases the air out of the shocks back in to the valve and out into the open air. I understand it gives a pretty sharp blast sound. I'm guessing like taking an air tool off the air line. Others that have installed the system already will no doubt correct me if I'm wrong.
And the really great thing is since this is an after market product, you don't have to use the Genuine Harley Air like you do in their shocks and tires. Think of the money you will save.
