Before you put some lower blocks on the shocks, you may want to send your seat to Mean City Cycles and have Allan shape the seat for you. That will cost only around $100.00. A LOT safer then the lower blocks and lower your seat to plant your feet firmly on the ground.
Also, if you decide to get a inside fairing antenna, save yourself some money and go to Advance Auto store. They sell the EXACT same antenna for around $20 bucks. that will cut the price in half. Lastly, check the touring parts for sale, you will SAVE a ton (or spend a ton) for some really good used items.
Congrats on your new bike. I know the problem of being 5' 6", and will be lowering something when I get mine out of storage, but have to actually get on and ride her first before deciding exactly what I'm doing.
