First time poster in the touring section. I am a proud new owner of a 2010 Road King Classic.
I had bought a 10 Heritage back in may and every 1k miles I would loose a quart of oil. Dealer thought I was full of **** and I wound up makeing 6 trips to get it fixed. Today was the last straw, told them to put a new motor in it and I would be happy.
They offered the Road King Classic for no money down and a few dollars more on the payment so I said---Hell Yess sign me up. Yea me by-god.

Awesome story....RKC is mint. You won in the end. Welcome....Pics?? Color??
Thanks guys. I wanted the Road King to start with. I let a smooth talking salesman talk me into the Heritage. It was a real nice bike with lots of chrome and vance and hines exhaust with stage 1 race tuner. I was happy with the bike but the oil problem got so bad on my mind I just had to start over.
Yes, you won!! I've had 2 Road Kings and loved 'em both. Wanted to try something different, so bought a Street Glide and really like it, but there's still a place in my heart for the Kings.
You are gonna love the Road King, most versatile bike you can get. Regarding your Heritage, before I started using Amsoil I would lose between a quart and a quart and a half every 3,000 miles. Now zero loss. I got tired of paying the dealer prices, joined the Amsoil discount club and recently bought 2 cases at a significant savings.
