Same experience. Ordered mine on line, w/in 48 hours, had my parts in hand. Great communication on status of order, when items shipped, etc... Installed the seat secure screw this morning and will do my saddle bag secure this afternoon. Great company and products!

That is the weak part of the saddle bag and where it is the most vulerable. IMO..
You're the first one who has mentioned this need. I'd be glad to check it out, but since I have the hard leather bags, would it be possible for you to send me some up close pics of what you are talking about? You can email them to info@brukus.com.

If not, I'll find someone else who can show me what the issue is.

Thanks!

Ok, I found a pic that I think will give you an idea of what I am talking about..

Do you see the tab(s) or keeper(s) on the back of the saddlebag?
Those could be bent very easily with a screw driver or something similar..
A very poor design. I have seen some bags with the keepers on the inside of the bag which is a much better idea. If some one just wanted to break into your bags it would be a very easy thing to do. Just bend the tabs in the back and it would open easily.

Here's pic of the tabs on the lid that go into the keepers on the back of saddlebag..
Very thin metal....that secures the saddlebag lid to the saddlebag..

Ok. Thanks! I know what you're talking about now. Am going to head over to the HD dealer tomorrow so while I'm there I'll look at this more closely and see if I can come up something. I've got 3-4 things in the pike right now so no guarantee of a time line, but I'll try.

I have a question regarding the Seat Secure: I have a C&C Solo seat. The C&C Solo seat has a single screw set-up to attach the back of the seat to the fender. Does the Brukus Seat Secure work on a single screw setup like the C&C Solo seat?

Is this what you are talking about?

We just had 2 others on the Forum ask us about making something up for that. Our SeatSecure™ doesn't work, but we are in the process of developing something right now. You might want to sign up for our email list on our website so you know when it's launched.

OK. Went to the dealer. There's very little room there to try and install anything. Don't want to keep you hanging, but right now nothing is really coming to mind that would work since there is so little room. If I get an idea, I'll get back with you. Thanks for thinking of us and making a suggestion.
