Default Keep on when not in use?

I recently went to a solo Mustang seat and got an HD chrome luggage rack also. I am wondering if anyone keeps their passenger foot boards on with their solo seat? Also do you remove the luggage rack when not in use and ride with the top of the rear fender naked or with a bib? Or does that stay on? The reason i ask is, both ways look nice, but just wondering how others riders have done. Thanks. Ride safe.

Passenger pads off, rack only when needed, no bib.

Just bought a Mustang solo from another member along with the mini-bib. Planning on a Motherwell fender rack but for the time it is in bare fender mode.

I have no plans to remove the passenger floorboards. Just one more (two actually) things I would have to put on when I need to go back to standard seat and Tourpak. Besides, if her scoot were to break down I figure we could fold up a jacket or something and she could ride the fender if we HAD to until we got back to civilization.

Since I always ride solo, having the passenger footboards on just looked weird... so I removed the mounting brackets too.

you might want to check the official harley rule book on this question. duh, there's no rules, do it however you want to. this is a decision that anyone who rides should be able to figure out on their own. this question makes me wonder though.

It would depend on how much you want to go through whenever you switch back or if you ever carry a passenger.
I tried a Danny Gray seat on my Limited and could not fit all the cables and crap under it.

I ride solo most of the time but my wife does like to take a ride once in a while. I hated the look of the stock Road King floor boards and they are always hitting me in the back of the legs up or down.

So I replaced them with a set of Street Glide peg mounts and some Harley pegs. There, there if I need them and there out of the way if I don't.

P.S. Pargenz, Where can I meet you Bartender!!!

Great idea, those rear pegs look great.
