I have the SE Pro module, cables and software and was to look into a basic tune for my 2010 Road Glide. Nothing major changed on the bike, I'm running the stock headers, Nightstick SE pipe, and have an SE Ventilator breather to install. Just can see paying $150 for the dealer to flash the ECM.
Eventually I'll make more major changes to the bike, but for now, this will be it. Anybody done this on their bikes? How complicated? Results satisfactory?
sometimes it just pays to have the dealer do the first tune, i had the stage one done last year with SERT, and dyno time (winter special) by my local dealer, when i inquired why it was taking so long to tune my bike they said they were having a hard time. they ended up replacing the ecm under warranty. after they replaced ecm (updated version) everything went smoothly and bike runs great. 2008 Road Glide
I had a problem like that a couple years ago when I had the Stage 1 done to our Sporty. Dealer spent 2 weeks working on it before it ran right again. Same thing with it, had to have new ECM! Just added Rhineharts and SE intake on it....
Might be worth the dealer doing it....Going to have them do my '10 Ultra when the snow melts again....
