Default Stock rear shocks-lowered front shocks

My bike is lowered 1" front and rear using StreetGlide rear shocks and HD front end lowering springs. The rear shocks have been worked by Bitchin Baggers and are working pretty good. I have a set of stock 13" shocks that I would like to try and see if I can get a little better ride.

Will having the rear 1" higher than the front cause any kind of problems?

Thanks
Cecil

I installed the stock rear shocks and the ride is improved markedly. Still a little bumpy. I'm only using 0-10 psi solo and 15-20 2 up. The springs may be a little stiff.

Handling is improved. I don't scrape in tight turns as much. Front is still lowered.

For some reason you're not supposed to lower the front without lowering the rear. Probably affects handling. It's ok to lower rear without lowering front however. Says so in accessory catalog.

Thanks. I asked on the forum and didn't get much, if any response. Talked to my dealer and he said they do it from time to time. I've ridden it like this for about 1000 mi and so far, don't have any problems.

I'm pretty happy with it. I've still got to put on my riding boots and roll the front wheel up on a 1" board that is 1" high and see what it feels like. I'll probably raise the front some either way. Just don't know how much, yet.
