while adding acruise or xm
a friend gave me advice if i add a cruise control/xm sat. to FLHTC. while the shop has the fairing apart have them add the adaptor for rear speakers(even if no plans for rear speakers).so at a future time it will be easier to add rear speakers.

It's called an OVERLAY Harness......
And anytime that you add to the HK Advanced Audio system, you MUST add the harness.....

Your friend just regurgitated the installation instructions, as the Overlay is a seperate, but REQUIRED purchase....
Here is the one that you will need to purchase....
HD P/N 70169-06
Allows Installation of Hands Free Cell Phone, CB Radio, Intercom, XM® Satellite Radio Kit or Rear Speaker components.
Fits '06-later FLHT, FLHX, FLHTC and FLTR models equipped with Advanced Audio Radio.
MSRP US $124.95
