For those of you that don't use an automatic toll paying device like "Quick Toll" on the East Coast, how do you pay your toll at the booth? Cash in the left pocket Right? Storage pouch? Use you clutch hand or throttle hand? Shut off your engine? Or paint your bike in Stealth paint and hope for the best??
What are tolls, is that like a troll? Imagine, continuing to pay for a highway over and over that your tax dollars paid for to begin with. It's amazing what we let government get away with.
On a recent trip through Okla. to Arkansas we had to stop for tolls 10 times. Folks we were traveling with had a "pike pass". They would just roll through then they had to stop and wait for us to pay. On return trip in the rain we had to dig change out of pockets unter rain gear...what a pain. Many of the toll gates we passed had no attendants. Finally at one gate after digging for change and not finding any we just said "to hell with it!" and sped off. Man all the bells ringing was really cool! LOL

I try to avoid the Kansas Turnpike (toll road). Too many idiots driving 80+, and not alot to see. I take the secondary roads, where I can ride a a relaxed pace, and see more of the world. Well....as much as there IS to see in Kansas.
