What the hell was I waiting for? They are awesome
I ordered the bars from Direct parts and the cables from Dr. V Twin
Both people were very impressive to deal with.
I went with the 12" MBB. They look higher online.
I can see/use the bottom of my mirrors.
Like everyone says I should have gone 14"s.
I am only 5'10" and was nervous about being too high.
I should have listened to others about trying to ride a few bikes before spending the ca$h.
Enough of all that, I love them and can't wait to keep riding
Got the 12's & mocked them up. They feel awesome. Can't wait 'til they're finished. No rush with all the snow still around but it's making me spend more money because the fairing is off. So, might as well do what I can while it's off.
Curious about this. It seems as if everyone loves all their mods. or is it you go "damn I spent all that money these things are the best thing since sliced bread". An example: I went with an 18" front on my street glide based on research I did vs. the 21" single sided brake set up. The only thing looking backwards I like better is the 21" look.
That being said is there anyone who wishes they had not done the bar swap. While they look cool could really do 2-3 or 8-12 hours hanging on to them? I realize everyone has their opinions. But this about a $1,000 mod, I'd hate to regret...But they do look sweet.

What's your opinions?
i hear ya. when i first installed my ten inchers, i didn't like 'em. it took several rides and adjustments for me to get the bars in the sweet spot. now i love them.
I ordered 10's but I think they might be 12's? I wasn't thrilled at first. % min down the road and I loved them. No more pain in the shoulders that my old pull back bars didn't cure.

Love mine. As others said played with rocking them forward and back to get just the right position. I have lots of riding days on them with short days being 200 or so miles. I have a few 8+ hour days with minimal stops (gas) as well. Much more comfortable than stock. With my backrest extremely comfortable.
I usually research things pretty well before I purchase. I do have a couple of screw ups that I need to Ebay. I have a set of Ness Deep Cut chrome grips and set of long angled highway peg mounts that I wished I hadn't purchased.
