Default ready for louder pipes

I am thinking about the kit the MOCO sells which includes the SE slip ons and SERT Air filter and so on. I think the kit is 699.00 The problem is I am not used to having so may options coming from a Victory bike. I am not looking for pipes that are too loud but louder than stock. What is the best set up? I am also hoping that it helps with the heat issue in the summer.

You want to solve the heat problem, get better style, sound and performance?.....go with true duals/air kit/PCIII combo!

I will tell you, if they are the SEII do NOT waste your $$$ . I have an ' 07 Road King Classic and bought the SEII Slip on's and they are not worth a S&!$.......I wasted $$ and ended up buying V&H True Duals

Epiflex/Rush 15301's slash cut slip-ons with 2.5" baffles. And I just happen to have a factory sealed brand new box of these 15301/2.5 - if interested - dchoran@earthlink.net. (Paypal???)

And I'll throw in a set of used 2.00" baffles - toooooo quiet for my tastes.

Dealers are trying to unload HD OEM SE slipons to newbies - they are tinny and weak sounding - beware.

I went to the stealership last year and "auditioned" a dozen types of slipons/pipes - mostly on Ultras. Man they were pushing SE slipons hard. Glad I passed.

You will kick a$$ with these Rush slipons - personally I think these sound better than anything else out there and they don't get the respect they deserve. Lightyears ahead of the SE slipons. Even with the 2.5" baffles, they are quiet when you are easy on the throttle and ROAR BIGTIME when you lay into it. Mellow on the highway too.

And if you want to change / tame the sound - baffles are ONLY $50 a set and can (DO) make a world of difference: 1.5", 1.75", 2.00", 2.25", 2.50" are available. 30 minutes to changeout.

Just trying to promote a good thing to the forum members when I see (hear) it.
