Dark windscreens

Dark windscreens
I'm on my 3rd windscreen....I like the shorter Street glide size so that's not question.
The darkness is my issue.
I've tried painted black, it's a bit too much. I'd like to be able to see something in the daylight in front if needed.
The dark smoke is not dark enough.
I had a layer of 5% tint put on my dark smoke and it was about right BUT he tint did not take. The screen is flat and when installed it is curved. Screws the tint up. It pulls up.
is there a really dark shorter screen available?

My Clearview 6.5 inch with recurve in solid black is my favorite shield for LOOKS:
That's my favorite shield.... Now you can't see THRU it one bit.. I like to see THRU the shield at slow speeds so I have since changed to the same shield in dk gray...it doesn't look as good. I'll probably be changing back to the black.

I actually chopped and painted my stock one....it look great but I got a couple small scratches on the outer and a few small pieces of lint on the inside when I painted it. I loved the solid black. It looked right.
It just left a void at night when slow speed parking and riding...just to be able to see tail lights through it would have been better.
My tint guy put a bunch of light scratches on the outside of this one and the tint is still bad. Not happy. I know they tint curved glass but this thing comes on and off...makes me think it's not possible. I'm not giving him the opportunity to screw up my painted inner fairing.
