Has anyone put a chrome wheel on the front only, leaving the back wheel stock. I considering the chrome wheel upgrade and after looking a lot of of bikes, it is hard to see the chrome rear wheel when the bags are on.
Also, any highly recomended chrome rims?

thats an option, but I felt that I saw enuf of the wheel under the bags to justify it also. I left the rotor and pulley stock tho on the rear. Its your decision tho...
I ran mine that way for a month or so, nobody even noticed. I have the SG shocks, so can can only see a sliver of the rear wheel anyway. Up to you. Problem is, you're going to know and it will eat at you.

Thats like peanut butter with out the jelly, lol. It might look ok but each time u looked at your bike or had the baggs off, you would be kickin yourself in the azz. To me they are like brake pads or wheel bearings, you cant get just one, you have to get them in sets. My .02.
I am thinking about doing the same with a 21" front. Later if it bothers me and when i need a new rear tire I will just do a chrome exchange with the stock rear wheel and just leave it at that.

This is a common thread, have to go with what fits your taste and budget, I personally have a 21' front chromed and kept the back but had it chromed along with the pulley, looks great, you can't see the wheel design but you know it's chrome...............
