Default inner cap fairing

Hello all, I thought I could throw out a question to my Harley guru friends.

Problem , I am building a softail/bagger . I have purchased a fairing from a flht, and inner cap to boot.

I have bought a international switch house module, everything needed.

Question," it seems that the module does not fit properly, in the inner cap fairing, so here it is.

Is there more than one style of inner fairing cap that only accept's international switch module?.

appreciate the input.

Ty

The plate that goes around the ignition switch and locks into the inner fairing cap is different for the HDI switch than the US, but not the fairing cap itself. The HDI switch plate is pn#71422-03 and the US plate is 71662-03A

As well, the switch -03A that you bought is now superseded to -03B, but I don't know if there is a difference between the two switches themselves.

ty I appreciate it . It's good to know that all the inner fairing caps are the same, as for the switch name plate I used ur PN to order a new one. Looks like they had ordered the wrong one.. I really appreciate your info, and I thank you for such a fast response... Stay up on 2, and have a great day
