Roadhouse built and sold exhaust systems that were pretty similar to the ones that guy made for his bike but I went to their website and read that they've closed shop. Going 2 in to 1 won't hurt your motor. In fact a Vance and Hines Pro Pipe or a Thunderheader 2 in to 1 can and will increase horse power and engine performance.
You can find a Vance and Hines Pro Pipe without the shields for short money on bulletin boards, craigslist, e-bay, flee market or swap.
