Default RK Handlebars: 1.5" or 1.25" with no cable changes?

I want to change the stock bars on my 2000 Road King. I am aware of the Heritage bars and the RK "High" bars, which both sound like good options with no cable changes.

Anybody know any bars that require no cable changes that have a 1.25" or 1.5" thickness?

I'm 6' tall and I want something with a little more rise and pullback, and it's a plus if I can get off with no cable changes.

Not sure about the beach bars but you should be able to go up to 10" apes. Check with some other that have the same year of bike though.

While you're pondering the cables, don't forget about all the wiring. You will run out of that and all your various switch wires will be to short before the cables are to short. Hate to see you in the middle of a swap and have to make another trip somewhere to get something to extend the wiring.

I may be putting my foot in my mouth but aren't the thicker bars 1 1/4". Didn't know there was a 1 1/2" bar. But I have been wrong before. There was that one time....

Wild 1s 508 or 518s, neither are apes, but they are comfortable.
I'm 6-2 and had the 518s on my RK with no cable changes. You will have to straighten out your brake line tho.
I'd suggest that you go down to your dealer on a Saturday, and see if you can sit on a few bikes out in the parking lot, to get a feel for what you want.

Thanks y'all.

strtarrow, if you google 1.5" bars, you can see 'em. I don't know how common they are. I feel like I've seen 'em on local 1%er bikes, but it's usually late at night, I'm intoxicated and don't really have a good sense of scale. I'm like, "Whoa, look at those bars!"
When you think about the scale of a road king, I don't know at what point bars would be too fat.

I was just out in the garage sitting on it, and I'm starting to I think I need to suck it up/save up and get some 16" apes and just change the cables. I gotta think about the long run, and I just gravitate toward that hand position. I had my wife out there with the measuring tape and everything.

Drag catalog has a 1.5 bar named the Big Buffalo. They also make engine guards in the same size. Ben
