Default inner fairing

has anyone painted there inner fairing themself and if so how did you go about it . did you prep the fairing in anyway other the cleaning it and did you clear it with anything special ? my bike is black and im thinking about silver what do you think ?

ok there must not be any painters out there i'm in minnesota does anyone know a painter on the cheap around the twin cities

Just prep it like any other part and paint it the same. That's what we did and it came out slick as glass

Use a scotch bright & sand it down, use a plastic adhesion promoter, prime or use a primer for plastic & paint.

I just scuffed mine with a scotch brite pad and then shot some epoxy primer on it let it set a while then shot the 3 stage paint. I didn't use any adhesion promoter ? Didn't need it.
