There's a sticky here which shows u how to remove your inner fairing.
Most of us removed it and had a shop do it. Guy I used here in North Carolina charged me something like $225
Got mine done by Pained Harley Fairings at Lone Star last year. Matched perfect. Need to make an appointment and a deposit. If I had another bagger, I would be going to Paul again.
Find out when he will be in your area and book an appointment. 20 minutes and we were out the door
Thanks for the info.
I just called and talked to Paul, nice guy. He said I could ship him the fairing and it would be $375 + $40 shipping (with new seals) or he could send me one already painted for the same price plus an additional $175 core charge and then would credit me when I sent him back my original fairing.
Are able to R & R the fairing yourself. This will save you ton $$$. If so ride bike by several good paint shops in your area . Look at there work and get prices.
Pricing could be $100 to $500. Some are very proud of there work .
How did they paint your inner fairing in 20 minutes? Plus how they R & R the inner fairing in 20 minutes? I want one of those magic wands. I do all my own paint work and can get paint dry in 20 minutes.
Pauls fairings are prepainted. I'm not sure if he's gotten his time down to 20 mins but I've seen him do a change out in 30mins before.
