I wear prescription glasses with transitional lenses. They become dark in the sunlight and clear otherwise.

I bought two pair of Wiley X Aviator frames with my prescription, with the foam weather inserts: one with transitional lenses that are good from dawn to dusk, and another clear pair for night. They are fantastic.

Most glasses are far more open around the eyes than a set of sunglasses or goggles. Above ~35mph with my current glasses and a half helmet, my eyes start watering, and at 70mph I can't see. I personally need something to block the wind.

I'm in the same boat as you, I can't ride/drive at night without glasses. For the bike I just got a pair of Oakley frames with polycarbonite Transition lenses. Now I don't have to change glasses when the sun goes down.

That's exactly what I do. Prescription glasses with clip-on sun glass during day...pop-off clip-on at night...even while riding. It's like magic!

for those of you who have the Wiley X, I am looking at those as well, how much extra did you have to pay for your RX lenses? I will be needing bi's more than likely.

Looking for some avg pricing so I have an idea on costs for frames and lenses. TIA
