The first ABS had a different rotor...They had a tone ring around them...2008 and up ABS and non ABS share the same rotors...The wheel speed is determined by what the sensor reads from the ABS bearing

When I bought my new wheels they said the rotors have nothing to do with the ABS (maybe they were wrong)? They said the bearings are what the ABS system use to work.
