Ride the "Natchez Trace Parkway" in Mississippi, 50 mph speed limit. Got on it in Natchez and was ready to find another road within 15 minutes. Ended up stayin on till Jackson Ms.
Believe it or not, but I had my cruise set at 60 the whole way to sturgis and was pulling 50-52 consistently
Great mileage! Any engine mods? Stock?
My wife and I also rode the Trace from Natchez to Jackson. We really enjoyed it. Didn't check gas mileage. We're going back to ride to Nashville one of these days.

My wife wasn't there to tell me what to do and how to do it, (don't know how I got that far from home on my own) and this road would have been a lot more fun at 60 to 70. Was in the middle of the day last Wednesday and no traffic at all and just knew the only car I'd see would be the law.

At least I can scratch that one off the list.
I completely understand. Be there done that and stayed on the Parkway about as long as you did.
Last summer running back roads up to the UP and back roads back through La Crosse and the Amish Country I was averaging 50 mpg the whole time, except for one tank I ran 55 mpg.
I have been from Jackson to Natchez this year on the trace and from Natchez to Jackson. It is just as boring either direction. Both rides had other riders with us. 18 bikes one time and 8 I think the other time. I think it would be easier to do with maybe 1 other bike or solo. When riding in group we do tend to roll on a little faster than 50 mph.
