Yes you are right the odometer is at the bottom of the gauge but nothing to do with the speedometer needle facing straight down. The speedometer has nothing after 120 mph at 4:37 on the speedometer face and i was wondering how much faster straight down was Between 5:58 and 6:03 pm. Was that an option the odometer that tells how fast your SG is going?

I agree, unless you have some major mods in the engine, or one heck of a tail wind, I don't think the needle was at 6.

Default Speedometer

Not sure if the needle will go past 120 or not. I know on my Arctic cat the speedometer only reads 100 but if the needle faces straight down it's 116-118 mph with a gps out on the lakes. I know the bike had all it could do to get 105 with a stage 1 96'' and it goes a heck of a lot faster with the 120 so i would say it goes to the 120mph but not sure whether the needle goes past that or not. Only have a couple hundred miles on the new engine so i haven't really held it wide open and i guess he did

I'm kinda doubting 'the kids' story......unless of course he found some roads
that didn't sport any frost heaves or pot holes, and then I'd still have my doubts.

Default speedometer

Well i'm sure if the needle will pass the 120 mark he did it. Like i said my ski mobile speedo's will go past their top speed on the gauge face and head back to 0 out on the frozen lakes. Thought someone might have gps'd their bike to see if 120 is even 120 or if the needle will even go past it on the hd gauge.
