Sticky threads
Below is what this forum post on this website that says constitutes a sticky thread.
What are sticky threads?
"'Sticky' threads are created by moderators or administrators (?), and remain 'stuck' to the top of the listing, even if they haven't had any posts recently. Their purpose is to keep important information visible and accessible at all times".
So are sticky threads really intended to advertise and push & sell Sponsors products which we all know they certainly do? For the last 2-3yrs on this forum here are my observations.
J&M referenced product stickys= 2 J&M products have had 2 stickys(J&M & Dr V-Twin) ever since introduction of their 7.25” speakers & later clone Arc amp. The original "7.25” speaker sticky just came down recently only be replaced with their new line products just before Daytona Bike Week how convenient!)
J&M= Sponsor.
Fuel Moto= Premium Sponsor & Sponsor of Touring Forum.
Fuel Moto stickys= 0, none, zilch
I can’t comprehend with all the innovative products Fuel Moto has produced in last 2 yrs why they don’t deserve or have at least 1 sticky? It’s not lack of member interest just look at thread count on some of their products!
