A Day at Daytona
We went to Bike Week last Weds and well, I rode a RG Custom once, a RG Ultra twice, and a CVO RG three times, a EG once, a EG Ultra once, a 103" Limited three times, and a CVO UG four times at the track between 9am and 1pm. And my wife was in the softail section taking just as many rides! WE were busy buyers!
A few conclusion were made:
1. I have a gorgeous 2001 88" RK 30K miles and one large first place trophy now but I'd never get a 96" anything. It's gonna be a 103 minimum.
2. it was windy as heck x two
3. I loved the 103" Limited. Seemed like a lot of bang for the buck.
4. I loved the 110" CVO RG alot, a whole lot!!
5. But if I had to go home with only two (can't forget the wifes choice!)
my ride would be the black over red version of the CVO Screaming Eagle Ultra Glide, loaded!
6. But I have to keep my Road King, the most flexible touring bike on the planet!!
We came home, chatted. She's still not 100% I'm about to start phone work as my local dealer doesn't seem to have a 2011 CVO Ultra in Blk over Red. If anyone is listening and knows where there is one, Id appreciate it!
