Seriously, your posting on here what to do about this? Didn't deliver on his promise, took 5 grand from you and didn't live up to his agreement with you, doesn't return your calls, AND has YOUR bike???

Get some *****, and go get your bike and money. Do something quick, or we'll change your handle to "Sucker".

In the future, get things like this invoiced or in writing with all their contact info. It's apparent you dropped your bike off to a stranger. For enough money, MANY people will risk a ding to their reputation, and just argue it with you later...reputation is only as valuable as the one somebody establishes with YOU. Seriously...

 

5K up front??? NO FRIGGIN WAY!!! I could see 10% or ~$800 bucks, but no way in HE!! would I give that someone up front.
