I have the Corbin Classic solo with the Corbin backrest and couldn't be happier. It sure doesn't "push you forward" but that may be a function of where and how I sit on the bike. I'm not sure what the OP expects to pay for a rider backrest; they're all pricey for what they (Corbin, Mustang, HD, etc.) are.
If you want a deal, be patient, and/or consider buying a used seat with backrest then keep the backrest and sell the seat.
If the "Harrison" is the one sold on ebay for $99, check the feedback there for HD owners' comments.
Good luck with your research.

Here's the thing, I bought an awesome used seat from a member here for $100. I can't bring myself to pay more for the backrest, then the seat. I've been looking for used ones on ebay, but the ones in nice shape are selling for close to $200 with shipping.
I am also looking at seats with backrests as you suggested, but I keep getting snipped on the auctions in the last seconds.
I may need to just bite the bullet and buy one for more then I want to spend, just want to make sure it's worth the money.

I had considered a backrest for my Corbin Classic solo until I had a chance to ride a few miles with the Corbin seat.
I will not be spending any money on a ridiculously price backrest after buying a ridiculously uncomfortable seat.
i have a corbin solo and it amazes me the people who think it is uncomfortable lol my pops sat on my bike and jumped up like a snake bit his *** lol and said no way was that seat going to be a high mileage seat i love it and can run a whole tank of gas out before needing a break .no backrest though i have a round bag backrest and a tombstone bag backrest both are great.
Well, I bit the bullet, bought a new oval back. still sickens me that it was more then the seat. I found a brand new one on ebay for about 25% off Corbin prices.
Aghhhhhhh! I may be having some buyer remorse. It better be worth it.
I just bought the small Harrison backrest and think it's more comfortable than the Corbin model (had it then sold it). The Corbin doesn't have much padding where the Harrison does. The vinyl is thinner but it still looks and feels ok.
For the adjustment screw I removed the allen screw then went and bought a stainless steel socket head screw and black plastic knurled **** made for socket head screws and replaced the allen screw with that. Looks like it belongs on the backrest. Now going down the road I can lean forward and reach back and adjust the angle of the backrest like you can with a Mustang.
For the price I really like it. Figured if the vinyl tears I'll have it recovered.
I'll try to get some pictures posted if it would help.
