Default RK Custom Suspension
Was the Road King Custom lowered front & rear, or just in the rear?

Was it just Street Glide shocks on the back with the regular front end, or shorter springs up front too?

Something else entirely?

I have a RK custom and don't think it's lowered anymore than anything else. The street glide is the only one I know of that's lowered.

For some reason I'm thinking the Road King Custom was lowered 1" too.

Can anyone confirm?

I just took the stock shocks off of my road king custom and they were 12" shocks, which is the same size as a street glide. Ultras are 13" shocks I believe. I don't think anything is different up front.

I always understood the rk custom is 1" lower in the rear but the same in the front. I also think I heard the fairing bikes have slightly stiffer springs in the front to account for the fairing weight, but i don't know that for sure.

I know my 2011 FLTRX 103 is lowered 1" & not sure about the 2010. Street Glides are also lowered.

Roadking "Custom" has 12" Profile shocks on the rear. Same front end height as the other RK family.

What he said.

I had a RK Custom for a couple years and 50,000K+ miles. That one inch lower in the rear looks good, but it does change the ride vs. the 13" shocks.

I was told by the dealer that the custom is lowered BACK and the FRONT. Hey thats what he said and he should know .
