Default Eastern Beaver Fuse Block (Pictures added)

Hey guys I am installing an Eastern Beaver fuse block to run all me electrical acc. Nice little package and I have it mounted under the seat. It has a ground side and two hot sides. One that runs directly to the battery and the other through a relay. The way this works is one side is always hot and the other side is hot only when the ignition is on. So what I need it a wire that is easy to get to that becomes hot when the ignition is on. Hopefully under the seat or close. I was hoping not to use the gray wire as I have other plans for that one with the switch on the dash. Anyone know of a spot? Second choice is to go all the way up and into the fairing and tap into one of the dash lights.
This is the one I am using.

If you are under the seat and were considering using a dash light, then the running lights for the rear are right there under the seat. I wouldn't rely on the lights wire for power, but you could feed a relay off the battery and have the rear running lights turn on the rely thus providing switched power safe and reliable.

Yes just looking to trip the relay. The power will come from the battery once the relay trips. Got to be one there in that bundle going to the tourpack.
Thanks

If you have a multi-meter it will take two seconds to find the right one. If you want to keep it real clean then the you can pick up a pin for that connector from the Moco and redo the stock pin so it has both wires coming out of it instead of splicing into it.

So the dealer has replacement pins for that connector? Humm I could pull that one pin and crimp or solder on the relay trigger wire. I like that. Nice and neat. The fuse panel came with a tapping connector but I like this better.

Well....I should state they should. My local Dealer and indy stocks them for all the different connectors. Service Manual for my 2005 shows how to pull them apart and the name of the different connector types.

I have the service manual for my 2010. Will check it out tonight when I get home. Dealer is open till 7:00 so I will have time to run over. Don't know why buy did not think about them having individual connector pins. Thanks for the info. This forum is GREAT!

Any pictures of your install? I'm thinking of doing something similar on my 2011 RGU.

Looking at the wiring diagram in the service manual, it looks like you could tap into the P & A IGN fuse which is energized when the igntion switch is in the igntion postion (and off in the ACC position)
