Quick opinions needed. I bought a standard height detachable HD Passanger backrest and pad. I figured the shortie, while looking good, might not be comfortable for the passenger. (and if mama aint happy, I aint happy!) So i put on the standard height and is it just me or does it look way too big? I had to check 2 times thinking it was the tall one. Maybe I am just so used to it without anything.
So the question is... do your passangers like the shortie bar and backrest OK? My factory seat has been reworked so I want to keep that stock pad look. Or do you guys think the standard pad and bar work well...
Thanks.. Ride Safe

The Standard is as close to perfect as you can get....
Standard height is for sure the way to go. Looks like "&*^" when no one is on it.
For my wife it was more about the seat. We rode about 80 miles down to Daytona on the stock seat the first day I got it. She said "I will get back on it when you get a different seat." I said "Honey, we are 80 miles from home".
We bought a seat in daytona so that my wife could get home.
I've got the shortie. My girl likes it a lot. Everyone's different...take her to the delearship and they would probably be able to try both. I have to agree though, nobody wants an unhappy lady sitting behind them.
I have the same seat on my new Street Glide and I love it! My wife loves it as well. Unfortunately, I don't know the name of it. When we were picking out my bike I said "I want that seat on this bike," and it was so.
HD Tallboy... Pushed me back and down, love it!! Broke it in with a 250 ride, comfortable from day 1 and the passenger seat + backrest makes my daughter fall asleep when we ride (crazy azz)...
My wife road once on the stock seat, looks cool, but she thought it sucked comfort wise. Put on a touring seat (from an Ultra) and the standard backrest. She's a happy camper now!
