Default tuning power commander v

i have a 2008 flhx streetglide.just did woods 5-55 cams, thunderheader 2-1 exhaust,to go along with a SE high flow AC.I programed the base woods map from fuel moto.bike goes like a raped ape but i have some surging while cruising especially at around 2500 rpms.the weather hasnt really broke yet but it feels great on the highway, and cruising between 3000-4000 rpms.are there any self adjusting ideas.i can try.plan on dynoing but strapped for cash for now.thanks for any help.keep the rubberside down, and enjoy the ride.

sorta had the same issue. i got ballsy and tried a bunch of different maps until i found one the i think works best for me. you might try callin power commander and tellin em what you have and what its doin and they can link directly to your laptop which will hook up to the power commander (assuming its the usb commander) and they can look at your numbers...had em do it to mine and just paid close attention to what they were doin... best of luck...

Call Jamie @ Fuel Moto. I had some issues with my set up, explained on the phine and they shot me a new map via email. all problems corrected. They do an outdtanding job supporting what they sell.

Exactly, Don't call DynoJet. Call Jamie and he will fix you up.

If you bought from Fuel Moto that will work, if not you may have to fix it yourself. Just richen it up 5% in the 2000 to 4000 rpm and 2% throttle to 40% throttle position. The surging is caused by lean conditon. Need to do this for front and rear cylinder. You can high lite the cells to be increased and use the page up to increase and the page down to decrease one % at a time. Turn number locks off first. If that doesn't do it try another 5%. I put a map switch on mine and keep a good working map and experiment on the other one. Works great. You aren't likely to get in too much trouble working in this area as it is ride ability and fuel mileage area. I don't change stuff above 50% throttle position area as this is more autotune/dyno area. I also had trouble with cruise and 6th light not working all time. Keith at Fuel Moto fixed on 30 second phone call. Turn off harley data under configure. I also turned off autotune since wasn't using it. Works great now.
