I have a PC111 and my bike was setup on a dyno where they did adjust the timing at the lower end. I,m no expert on computers but i,d assume if the timing can be adjusted on a dyno, it could be adjusted by using a computer / laptop.

Most fuel maps come with the timing pre-adjusted. Mine only has the timing tweaked at the higher end revs and she runs just amazing from 0 to full throttle and all the way up the rev. scale.

hmm, well the guy that installed my power commander usually works with the SERT's and this was his first power commander install. it runs good but he said he wishes he could find a way to adjust the timing , maybe ill get a hold of power commander and ask them about it, Thanks for the input

You can adjust the timing by hooking the pc to your laptop, running the pc software and going into the ignition section. As to what to adjust your timing to I can't really assist you there as I assume it is bike, setup and environment specific.

Here is a screen shot of mine. If you look on the left hand side you will see the section that I put a red square around. When you click on table under Ignition you will see something similar to the table in the main box. Those are the numbers I have plugged into mine. Again, what numbers you plug into yours will depend on your bike, mods, how you ride and your environment (?), just showing mine as an example. Mine is not exactly dialed in, these are just the first numbers found that got rid of the pinging so I left them there for now and will tweak more this spring.
