I've got 11k on my 2010 FLHTCU and both tires are still going strong...I agree with onedownandfiveup...2nd & 3rd gear are harder on the tire wear even on moderate acceleration...definitely need to get back to the dealer under warranty...bad tire for sure.

I just changed mine last week after 19,000 Km. I could have got more from the rear one but decided to change both together.

Lots of factors including tire pressure, weight on the bike and the types of roads you ride. Gravel eats tires, improper pressure creates uneven wear.
Normal wear for most bikes is around 10-12k from a rear tire, 20-25k for a front.

As sig says, 2010 Street Glide. Purchased bike Christmas Eve from dealer with brand new tires that had zero miles on them.

I never use rear brake only for stopping

I check pressure before I ride and also had it checked as well as the rear suspension Saturday and it was at recommended pressure. I have not had a passenger on this bike yet as I want to be 100% familiar with it before putting someone else's life in my hands...

The one thing I can assure is I don't hot rod this bike. I haven't even had the rpm's over 3700 as there is no need. If I want to go fast, I have other toys for that..

I did purchase the wheel/tire protection package, so I will have the dealer check it out.

Usually around 42mpg. Haven't taken any long trips. We tend to run to the horse farm and beach often. About 45 miles each way to Port Orange/ Daytona Beach. Brake pads were replaced when bike was traded in. I'll have to pull them and see if that is the case or not. I know the oil could not have been changed. If it was, then this engine won't be lasting a long time as it was jet black and thick when I drained it.
