I have used Zanottis twice and Lakeshore once and each time my order was shipped the day they received it including one from Zanottis yesterday. I have also used Liberty HD in Akron OH with great results. Liberty is the only one who charges the actual shipping cost. Zanottis charges by the value of the order which can really screw you if your small item is expensive. Any of them can have delivery time issues since they are HD dealers and not distribution centers and are at the mercy of HD getting the goods to them.
I will say Zanotti's having their Parts Inventory list makes them 1st choice if they have it in stock. Ive bought from all 3.....Zanotti's, Chicago HD, and Lakeshore HD. Have NO COMPLAINTS about any of them.
I've used both Zanotti and Lake Shore with good success. In fact, I have a $1400 order at Lake Shore right now. I've found that Lake Shore and Zanotti price their parts pretty close, but Lake Shore can usually beat Zanotti on the bottom line with lower shipping costs, even when they aren't running a free shipping promotion. The flip side of that is Zanotti tends to ship a little quicker.
My vote goes to Zanotti HD. I ordered the SE ventilator along with some other parts and after I opened the air cleaner I noticed two fine scratches going from top to bottom in the air cleaaner cover insert. I emailed them and explained what I did and that I would send them the damaged product back. They went ahead and ordered a new one and sent it to me and did not want the scratched one back. You can not beat customer service like that. Even though the replacement part was only about $15.00, they earned my business. Price means a lot these but customer service is hard to find and theirs is A+ in my book.
I've used both Zanotti's and Chicago Harley Davidson. Depending on what I wanted, one or the other was less...so I used both! Very happy with prices and service.
Zanotti's is terrific, and runs usually 20+% off list. Chicago HD has turned into one of the very worst, unfortunately. It's a shame, too. Hampton Roads Harley is excellent, especially for shopping for Bright *** tail lights.
I used http://Cyclepartsforless.com/ and so far they have been great. Really good discounted prices and free shipping over $100.00
They have all the Harley parts. Cheapest price on a windsplitter that I could find. Next day shipping.
