Has anyone tried the lowering kit from
Road Customs??

can't say that I have. I would suggest staying away from those type of lowering brackets. I had a set of burleys crack on me and a buddy back home said his broke while riding ( not sure what brand )

I got a set from Ebay basically the same and have no issues with them. Cheap fix and it is working for me. I put them n my 09 SG.

I went with LA Choppers lowering kit, more pricey but safety is worth it.
